Jason,
Just want to thank you again for your commitment to raising GSD's with outstanding temperament. As you know Bella and I were accepted into a service dog training program run by Soldiers Best Friend. They train combat injured former military members and their dogs to be service dogs for the injured veterans. Bella has been the talk of the program. She is the only dog under one year old in the program and she is almost half way through. The head trainer saw her in group last Thursday and asked for your information because she would like to get a shepherd for herself. Bella is so smart and learns so fast it is amazing. She will be taking her mid term test next week and we are sure she will pass.
I was hurt jumping out of a C-130 and landing in a tree that dislocated my shoulder. I was then involved in a vehicle mishap that fractured a vertebrae In my neck and compressed my lower spine that did permanent damage to my spinal cord. Bella is learning to pick things up for me, stand and brace so I can use her shoulders as support when standing up as well as cover my back when we are in crowds. She has mastered all of this and she is only 10 months old. That level of success doesn't just happen by accident. The dog must have a wonderful temperament, be incredibly smart and be willing and anxious to serve me. Bella is all of those and more. She is the most loving caring dog I have ever been around.
I just want to thank you again and I don't have words to tell you how much this dog means to me. I hope you continue to breed amazing animals for people like me to have amazing service dogs and for families to have the most wonderful loving pet that they could ever find. I will work to get more veterans involved and I hope at least a few of them can get a great German Shepherd Dog from you.
Best regards
